Turkish Speaking Cover Supervisor

Location: Haringey, North London
Pay: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly via PAYE

Do you speak Turkish and feel confident leading a classroom? We’re working with a friendly, inclusive secondary school in Haringey that’s looking for a Turkish-speaking Cover Supervisor to support pupils and keep learning on track when teachers are absent.

Your language skills will make a real difference, helping bilingual students feel understood, supported, and ready to engage. If you’re calm, organised, and enjoy working with young people, this could be a brilliant fit.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervising KS3 and KS4 classes using pre-prepared lesson plans

  • Creating a positive, focused classroom environment

  • Supporting Turkish-speaking pupils to access learning and follow instructions

  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff throughout the day

What we’re looking for:

  • Fluent or confident Turkish speaker

  • Experience working with children or young people, in schools or similar settings

  • Strong behaviour management and clear communication skills

  • A reliable, proactive approach and genuine interest in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
