What the role involves as a Trainee Teaching Assistant
You’ll support pupils in lessons, help teachers with classroom routines and build confidence working with young people. This role gives you the chance to develop your skills while being guided by an experienced and friendly team.
Your daily tasks as a Trainee Teaching Assistant
- Assisting pupils during classwork and group tasks
- Supporting teachers with resources, routines and classroom management
- Encouraging pupils to stay focused and engaged
- Helping children who need extra reassurance or direction
- Communicating effectively with staff and pupils
Ideal Trainee Teaching Assistant candidates have
- A genuine interest in education or working with young people
- A patient, kind and proactive approach
- Good communication and willingness to take guidance
- Some experience with children (professional or voluntary) is helpful
- An enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
