We’re supporting a welcoming primary school with a specialist SEND provision, and they’re looking for someone friendly, patient and eager to learn. You don’t need classroom experience yet, just the right attitude, curiosity and a genuine desire to help children feel safe and confident at school.
This is a trainee role, so you’ll be supported every step of the way.
What you’ll be doing

Working alongside teachers and experienced TAs to support children with additional needs

Helping pupils in lessons, small groups and 1:1, depending on their needs

Learning how to use strategies that support communication, emotional regulation and behaviour

Building warm, trusting relationships with pupils who benefit from consistency

Taking part in training and gradually taking on more responsibility as you grow

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
