Trainee Teaching Assistant – Life Skills & Independence Support

Location: Easington
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

Want to help young people gain confidence in everyday skills, not just classroom learning? This specialist setting supports children and young adults with a range of learning needs, and they’re ready to welcome trainee TAs who bring enthusiasm and empathy.

Your day will include:

  • Helping pupils build independence through practical tasks

  • Supporting sensory activities and physical/regulation routines

  • Encouraging communication and social interaction

  • Celebrating every step forward, no matter how small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
