They are seeking a motivated and compassionate Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their team and develop their skills while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

About the Role
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll be learning on the job while supporting pupils with:

Social, emotional and mental health needs
Under the guidance of experienced teachers and support staff, your day-to-day role may include:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups

Helping students stay engaged, calm and focused

Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation

Using simple communication strategies such as visual prompts (training provided)

Encouraging independence and positive behaviour

Building supportive relationships with pupils

Promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
This role will equip you with the skills and confidence needed to progress into a full Teaching Assistant position.
