Trainee Teaching Assistant – Behaviour & Emotional Support

Location: Easington
Start: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

Your role:

  • Supporting pupils who need extra help regulating emotions

  • Using clear routines and calming approaches to help them feel safe

  • Working closely with teachers and mentors

  • Turning difficult moments into positive steps forward

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Stays patient, even when things get a bit lively

  • Connects well with young people

  • Listens well and builds positive relationships

  • Wants to develop skills in SEMH and trauma-informed practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
