We’re supporting a friendly school looking for a Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their team. No previous school experience needed, just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in supporting children.
You’ll be learning on the job, working alongside experienced staff, and building confidence in the classroom from day one.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils in class and in small groups

Helping children stay focused, calm, and engaged

Learning behaviour support and classroom routines

Working closely with teachers and SEND staff
This role is perfect if you:

Are considering teacher training or a long-term role in education

Have experience with children through childcare, volunteering, or care work

Are patient, reliable, and keen to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
