We’re supporting a welcoming secondary school with a strong SEN team, and they’re looking for someone kind, calm and eager to learn. You don’t need school experience yet. Just bring the right attitude, patience and a willingness to get stuck in, and the school will guide you through the rest.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 with additional needs such as autism, ADHD and SEMH

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help students stay focused, confident and engaged

  • Learning how to adapt tasks, explain concepts and help pupils regulate their emotions

  • Supporting teachers by helping maintain routines, structure and positive behaviour

  • Building steady, trusting relationships with young people who benefit from calm support

  • Growing your skills week-by-week with guidance from experienced SEN staff
