This inclusive Peterlee school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and believes in developing staff through hands-on experience and training. They’re looking for a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant who wants to learn how to support children in a meaningful, practical way.
Your role will include

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis

Helping pupils regulate emotions and access learning

Learning SEN strategies from experienced staff

Being a consistent, reassuring presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
