Are you passionate about helping children and young people feel confident and supported in their learning? We are looking for a Trainee SEN Support Assistant to work within a specialist educational setting in Sunderland focused on learners with autism and complex needs.

You will help support pupils in daily learning and nurture opportunities, playing an important part in a team that values high expectations, honesty and collaboration. You will be involved in practical tasks that help young people engage fully with personalised learning and routines.

Key Duties:
• Assist with classroom activities tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils to follow routines, build communication skills and interact positively.
• Encourage pupils to develop independence and confidence.
• Attend relevant training and work collaboratively with staff.
