Trainee Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: South Shields
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

We are seeking a Trainee Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs while gaining valuable experience in education.
This role is ideal for candidates from care, youth work or psychology backgrounds looking to transition into education.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting classroom routines
• Encouraging emotional regulation
• Building positive relationships with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
