We’re working with a welcoming specialist school in Tower Hamlets looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. The pupils have a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties, and they need someone consistent, patient, and genuinely caring.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

Helping children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs access learning

Using structure and routine to create a safe environment

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists

Encouraging independence and emotional regulation
This isn’t about being on the sidelines. You’ll be a key part of the classroom team, helping pupils feel secure enough to learn and grow.
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people with SEND

Is calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent

Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships

Understands that behaviour is communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
