What the role involves as a Teaching Assistant
You’ll assist pupils across the school day, helping them access learning, understand tasks and stay engaged. You’ll work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a warm, structured environment where pupils feel valued and able to succeed.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils during lessons and small-group activities
- Encouraging focus, confidence and positive behaviour
- Assisting the class teacher with resources and classroom routines
- Helping pupils who need extra guidance or reassurance
- Contributing to a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere
What you’ll bring as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with children or young people
- A calm, caring manner
- Good communication and teamwork
- Flexibility to support different learners
- An enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
