What the role looks like as a Teaching Assistant
You’ll assist pupils throughout lessons, help teachers with classroom tasks and create a welcoming, structured atmosphere. You’ll be joining a supportive staff team who value good communication and a positive approach.
Your main duties as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting learning across the classroom
- Helping pupils who need extra encouragement or guidance
- Assisting with resources, activities and daily routines
- Building positive relationships with pupils of all abilities
- Working closely with teachers, SEND staff and other Tas
You’ll be a good match as a Teaching Assistant if you
- Have experience with children or young people
- Are patient, encouraging and adaptable
- Can communicate clearly and supportively
- Work well as part of a team
- Hold an enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
