We are working directly with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Gateshead that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

This school has a strong community feel, clear routines, and a calm learning environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to build experience within a school setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

  • Working with small groups and individual pupils

  • Assisting with behaviour support and engagement in learning

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom

  • Supporting pupils’ wellbeing throughout the school day
