Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students across primary/secondary settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, and additional learning needs
  • Helping to create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, staff, and parents when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting (preferred)
  • Experience supporting SEND students is an advantage
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
