What You’ll Be Doing

  • Personalised Support: Help children with SEND access the curriculum by delivering targeted assistance tailored to their learning style.

  • Collaborative Teaching: Assist in planning and delivering inclusive lessons that celebrate and support every learner.

  • Champion Inclusion: Foster a positive, welcoming classroom environment that promotes equality and participation for all students.

  • Build Confidence & Life Skills: Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and essential everyday skills.

  • Behaviour Support: Use proactive strategies to manage behaviour and encourage meaningful engagement in learning.


✅ What We’re Looking For

  • SEND Experience: Background in supporting children or adults with special educational needs—especially in areas like Autism, ADHD, and social or emotional needs.

  • Behaviour Management: Confident using strategies to support a wide range of behavioural and learning challenges.

  • People Skills: Strong communicator who builds trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

  • Team Player with Heart: Committed to creating a caring and inclusive learning space for every student.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification (or equivalent)

  • Training or experience with SEND-specific strategies, particularly for Autism and ADHD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
