About the role
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every pupil reach their potential?
We’re looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Hackney.
You’ll work closely with teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same — and every day makes a difference.
What you’ll be doing

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs

Helping to create a calm, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive

Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour management

Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, youth work, or care background)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
