Role Overview:

 

We are seeking dedicated Support Assistant to join a school in Horsham, providing 1:1 support to a children in Reception or Year 1. The position can be either full-time or part-time work, depending on your preferences and availability. You will play a crucial role in supporting children with Autism, and one child with medical requirements, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement and the school environment.

Your responsibilities will involve assisting these young learners throughout their school day, catering to their individual needs and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning experience. This a rewarding opportunity which will allow you to make a profound impact on the academic and personal growth of these young students during their crucial early years.

 

 

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs or a strong desire to work with such children.
  • The ability to follow EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) or other educational plans designed to carer to individual learning needs.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • The ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, foster the growth and development of every child.
  • Patience, empathy and understanding to support student's diverse learning requirements.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, capable of adapting to various situation and challenges that may arise.
