Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Full Time

About the role
Protocol Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Islington on a full-time basis.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact in the classroom. You’ll be supporting pupils to build confidence, independence, and engagement while helping teachers deliver high-quality learning experiences every day.
Key responsibilities

Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across all subjects

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils who may need additional help

Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Prepare learning materials, classroom displays, and resources

Promote inclusion and help all pupils feel confident and supported in class

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to deliver tailored learning
About you

Experience working with children or young people in an educational or childcare setting

A patient, proactive, and caring approach
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine interest in supporting learning and child development

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
