Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Daily Supply)

We’re looking for supportive, calm, and confident SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis in a welcoming secondary SEND school in Tower Hamlets.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils aged 11–16 with additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and MLD

Providing one-to-one and small-group support

Helping pupils stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support teams
What you’ll need:

Experience working with young people with SEND, or transferable skills from care, youth work, or community settings

A calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills
-
A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
