A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Chelmsford is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join its supportive team across all year groups.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will gain hands-on classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant in an environment that prioritises training, wellbeing, and career progression. The school’s leadership team is committed to your development, offering regular CPD sessions and clear routes to advancement. Many of our Teaching Assistants go on to become Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) or train as qualified teachers through our school-based programmes.
Positions are available for both 1:1 Teaching Assistant support roles and general classroom-based Teaching Assistant posts. These are active and engaging roles, ideal for individuals who are energetic, proactive, and passionate about education.
No previous school experience is required — we provide free training and ongoing support for all new team members. We also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, youth work, childcare, customer service, or similar roles where empathy, patience, and communication are key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
