About the role
Looking to make a difference in a child’s day? We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide day cover in a welcoming Hackney school. You’ll be supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them feel calm, confident, and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing

Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support

Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour

Helping create a safe and engaging learning space

Teaming up with teachers and SEN staff to make sure every pupil feels included
What we’re looking for

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH or similar)

A calm, patient approach and strong communication skills

Flexibility to adapt quickly in different classrooms

Genuine passion for helping children thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
