Year 2 Teaching Assistant | Camden

Do you love working with little learners at the very start of their school journey? We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Camden primary school.

In this role, you’ll be a key part of the Early Years team, helping children settle, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of learning through play.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons and play-based activities

  • Encouraging independence and building children’s social skills

  • Working 1:1 and in groups to support learning and development

  • Helping the class teacher create a nurturing, engaging environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children in Early Years or a similar setting

  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach

  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework is helpful, but not essential
