Early Years Teaching Assistant | Camden

Do you enjoy helping young children take their very first steps in education? We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Camden primary school.

You’ll be part of a dedicated Early Years team, supporting children as they grow in confidence, develop new skills, and learn through play.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children during lessons, play, and daily routines

  • Encouraging independence and building social and communication skills

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development

  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children in Early Years or a similar setting

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework is desirable but not essential
