Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to join a thriving college located in Walthamstow.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working 1:1, in small groups and supporting with whole class support, the age range you will be supporting is 16-25 year old students.

Daily duties will consist of helping the classroom teacher to prepare learning material and run classroom activities and supervising the class from time to time.

No teaching support experience is required for this role; the college are seeking to appoint a practitioner who is eager to help vulnerable students to live happy and fulfil live.

You will be surrounded by likeminded educational practitioners who will support you on your journey in becoming a successful Teaching Assistant.

 

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Assisting students with their educational and social development, on an individual and group basis
  • Offer support to students both inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • Supporting teachers with the maintenance of student records.
  • Developing and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration.
  • Offer expertise to deliver a personalised curriculum for each pupil’s learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
