Job Duties:

• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
• Providing one-to-one support to students who require extra help
• Supervising students during class and break times
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
