Teaching Assistants, Day to Day Supply

Lewisham

If you love the buzz of a busy school day and enjoy being the calm, steady presence that helps children thrive, you’ll fit in brilliantly with our Lewisham schools.

We’re looking for flexible, confident Teaching Assistants who are happy to jump in, support learning and make each day feel purposeful. No two days look the same which is all part of the fun. One morning you might be helping a lively Year 1 class, the next you could be supporting small groups in Upper Key Stage 2. What stays the same is your ability to bring warmth, patience and a bit of spark to every classroom.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils with learning and engagement

  • Helping teachers keep lessons running smoothly

  • Offering one to one or small group support

  • Bringing positivity, curiosity and a can do attitude to every school you visit

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting

  • Adaptable, reliable and happy to take on day to day bookings

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with young people

  • A calm presence who can slot naturally into different routines
