Protocol Education are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a Secondary School in the NE3 area (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom). Your role will consist of working with and supporting children with Special Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and some with challenging behaviours, providing 1:1 and group in-class support. You do not need any qualifications for this role, just a passion for helping children who require your extra support.

You must be available to work Monday- Friday (Full-time) and will need an Enhanced DBS/ be willing to obtain one.
We have roles available immediately (pending clearance) up until July 2023. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering a career in Teaching or Educational Psychology, for example, to gain experience whilst being paid in a rewarding setting.
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a university degree
- Have an Enhanced DBS/ be willing to obtain one
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work Monday-Friday (term time)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
