SEN Teaching Assistant – North East London

Are you the kind of person who can turn a tricky morning into a triumph? We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN secondary school in North East London.

This school supports students with a range of additional needs, including autism and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. They’re looking for someone calm under pressure and confident in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning space.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students with individual learning plans and emotional regulation

  • Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and therapists

  • Helping students engage in learning and build confidence day by day

  • Bringing energy, empathy, and a big dose of patience to every lesson

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people with additional needs (school-based or otherwise)

  • A caring, flexible approach and great communication skills

  • Someone reliable, patient, and passionate about making a difference
