Role:Teaching Assistant (Level3)
Protocol Education is working with a school in Newcastle to find an excellent Teaching Assistant, qualified to at least level 2 and ideally level 3.
The school is a Roman Catholic school with a strong Christian ethos and respect for and some knowledge of the faith would be beneficial.
The head teacher describes the school as " a happy and very calm environment where attendance is good because the children like coming to school."
Behaviour is exemplary and mutual respect is practised.
The head teacher is looking for someone with a fairly short commute to the NE6 area, and you must be reliable .
Duties:
Support the class teacher in delivering and assessing the curriculum.
Work with small groups and individuals in class and outside on the playground and in assemblies and school trips.
Communicate with other staff and family members.
Deliver and assess phonics and reading lessons where needed.
You must be qualified to at least Level 2 to be considered for this role and you must have a right to work in the UK. This is a full time role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
