We’re looking for brilliant Teaching Assistants to work across a mix of mainstream primary, secondary, and SEND settings in the West Yorkshire area. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and supporting young people. We have opportunities available in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield, we will work with you to secure a local school that is the right fit for you!

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils in class, small groups, or one to one
  • Helping teachers keep lessons running smoothly
  • Adapting to different school environments with confidence
  • Bringing patience, kindness, and a steady approach to every setting
  • Creating positive relationships with pupils who need that extra bit of support
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
  • Effectively managing behaviour, adhering to schools’ behaviour policies.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in schools
  • Confidence supporting different age groups and learning needs
  • A calm, compassionate approach, especially in SEN environments
  • Someone reliable who schools love having back
  • A willingness to learn and try new things
