Main responsibilities

Deliver targeted communication activities with individuals and small groups

Use visual supports and structured routines effectively

Support social interaction and self-expression

Work collaboratively with therapists and teachers

Observe and feedback on progress

Experience working with pupils who have communication needs

Knowledge of communication tools (visual aids, structured supports)

A patient, responsive and encouraging approach

TA qualification desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
