We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in Islington looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a setting where every day is about patience, progress, and properly supporting pupils with additional needs.

If you’ve got a big heart, a steady approach, and experience in SEND, this could be your kind of place.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and complex needs

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups

  • Helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff

  • Celebrating every bit of progress, however small

This isn’t about standing at the back of the classroom. It’s about being right there, building trust, encouraging independence, and helping pupils feel understood.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND

  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
