About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work in a variety of special needs schools, providing support to students with diverse needs including ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD, and more. You will assist with daily learning activities, help students engage with their lessons, and promote a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Whether you're looking for part-time, full-time, or flexible work, we have opportunities that suit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them engage with lessons and develop their skills.
- Assist with personal care and mobility where necessary.
- Encourage students to reach their full potential, both academically and socially.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential.
- A positive and patient attitude with a passion for supporting children with special needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Previous experience with Moving and Handling or Team Teach training is a plus, but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
