Job Duties:

The Teaching Assistant in Hounslow will support the teacher in delivering educational programmes, assist in preparing learning materials, and provide one-on-one support to students. They will also help in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students with special educational needs.

Required Qualifications:

Teaching and learning support Level 2 or 3 qualification is essential for this role.

Education:

A minimum of Teaching and learning support Level 2 or 3 qualification is required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in British sign language
  • Experience in providing dyslexia support
  • Strong behaviour management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in special educational needs support would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a classroom setting, providing support to students and collaborating closely with teachers and other staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
