What the role involves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
You’ll support pupils in lessons, help teachers with classroom tasks and assist learners who need additional guidance. This role gives you valuable experience if you’re considering a future in teaching or a pupil-focused profession.
Daily responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting teachers with resources, planning and behaviour routines
- Helping pupils stay engaged and motivated
- Encouraging positive behaviour and clear expectations
- Building your confidence and skills through hands-on experience
You’ll be a great fit as a Graduate Teaching Assistant if you have
- A degree in any subject
- An interest in education, psychology or youth support
- Good communication and a patient approach
- The ability to work as part of a team
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
