Teaching Assistant – Specialist Secondary SEN Setting
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
We’re recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a specialist secondary SEN setting supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
You’ll work across the school day supporting learning, behaviour and wellbeing, helping pupils build confidence and routine.
Responsibilities include:
• Classroom-based SEN support
• Supporting pupils during transitions
• Encouraging engagement with learning
• Supporting behaviour positively
• Building strong, trusting relationships
This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to work beyond traditional classroom support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
