A specialist SEND school in Hackney is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant who gets it. Someone calm, consistent, and genuinely invested in helping pupils with additional needs feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
This is a school with a strong team, clear routines, and leaders who understand how vital support staff are. No being left to figure it out on your own. No feeling overlooked.
What your days will look like:

Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs

Working 1:1 and in small groups
-
Helping pupils regulate, refocus, and re-engage

Supporting learning through tailored activities and structured routines
-
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
