You're the calm in the chaos, the glue that holds the day together
If you’ve ever been called the “go-to” person in your school, we want to hear from you.
Protocol Education is working with brilliant schools across Merton, Wimbledon, Mitcham, and nearby areas, all on the lookout for passionate, patient, and reliable Teaching Assistants who make a difference from day one.
What you'll be doing:
-
Supporting pupils in class or 1:1 - especially those with additional needs
-
Helping teachers keep the classroom ticking along nicely
-
Encouraging learning, managing behaviour, and keeping things positive
-
Sometimes stepping into the sensory room, sometimes out on the playground - no two days are the same!
About you:
-
You've got experience supporting children (in schools, youth clubs, care roles - anything where you’ve built great relationships)
-
You’re calm, kind, and quick to adapt
-
SEND experience (autism, ADHD, SEMH) is a big bonus - but heart and patience matter most
What we offer:
-
Weekly pay (PAYE only - no umbrella faff)
-
FREE online training, including behaviour strategies and Thrive (yes, Thrive!)
-
A local consultant who knows every school like the back of their hand
-
Roles that fit your life - part-time, full-time, term time, or day-to-day
Psst… not Thrive trained yet? We’ll sort you out for free. It’s a game-changer for your CV and makes a big difference in classrooms.
