Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Westerham, South East England, Kent

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £89 - £100 Per day

Benefits: PAYE

Working Hours: 07:15-15:10, with a one-hour break

Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons
  • Assisting students with their learning and development
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
