Love helping young people find their spark? This friendly Northumberland school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who brings patience, positivity, and a good sense of humour to every day.

You’ll be supporting pupils across KS2 who need that little extra boost—whether it’s helping them stay on task, understand tricky topics, or build confidence in class. It’s a role where your calm nature and creative approach will make a real difference.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning

  • Helping create an inclusive, positive classroom environment

  • Supporting the teacher with activities, resources, and pupil engagement

  • Encouraging independence and celebrating small wins every day

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children (school or youth setting)

  • A positive, patient attitude and genuine care for young people

  • Great communication and teamwork skills

  • TA qualifications or relevant experience (SEN experience is a bonus!)
