Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, with a focus on phonics instruction.
  • Support individual students and small groups, addressing specific learning needs.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities and materials.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students with personal care needs, if required.

About You:

  • Relevant qualification or training as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Proficient in phonics instruction and passionate about early literacy.
  • Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
