Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, with a focus on phonics instruction.
- Support individual students and small groups, addressing specific learning needs.
- Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities and materials.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students with personal care needs, if required.
About You:
- Relevant qualification or training as a Teaching Assistant.
- Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
- Proficient in phonics instruction and passionate about early literacy.
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
