Protocol Education are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis and start in September 2024 at a Primary School in Islington.

This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday. The working hours are 8:30-16:00.

You will be required to work in a KS2 class, with a full class of 30 students and the class teacher. You will be required to support the students and teacher to the best of your ability.

Qualities, roles and responsibilities:

  • To help in the preparation and organisation of the classroom resources
  • To support the whole class and class teachers
  • To help organise and prepare the classrom before and after lessons
  • To help the students work as independently as possible
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Patient and understanding approach
  • Able to commit to the whole academic year until July 2025

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
