Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and those requiring Makaton communication.

Job Duties:

Assist in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN. Support students in their learning activities and promote their independence. Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges. Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. ️ Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • TA Level 2 qualification
  • HLTA qualification

Skills:

❤️ Compassion and understanding towards students with SEN. Effective behaviour management techniques. ‍♂️ Patience and sensitivity in dealing with students' needs. ️ Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Additional training in Makaton communication.

Working Conditions:

Full-time hours, contract position. Salary range of £83 - £90 per day. Work in an educational setting with students with SEN.
