Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in effective lesson delivery
- Help plan and prepare educational resources
- Ensure the welfare of students is always safeguarded
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with SEND students
Education:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications
Experience:
- Previous classroom experience, particularly with SEND students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication to supporting student learning
- Proficient understanding of SEND practices and methodologies
- Effective team collaboration skills
- Resilience and adaptability in managing challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in specific areas of SEND support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
