Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking an organised and motivated individual to join a reputable school in Tameside . The school offers a positive, secure environment and encourages communication between staff, parents and pupils.

This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career as a Teaching Assistant and is open to all levels of experience and education.

About the role:

  • Listening to students read, or reading to them
  • Managing student behaviour during activities and lessons

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a School (Not essential)
  • Be flexible and patient
  • Be able to communicate clearly
  • Effectively work as part of a team
  • Be able to work 08.30 – 16:00

Successful candidate must have:

  • DBS Certificate on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 professional references
  • Has GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
