Prospective candidates are expected to have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 childcare certificate (or equivalent)
  • DBS enhanced clearance
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities encompass:

  • Building strong relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Planning and executing daily routines in the assigned room
  • Adhering to established standards and policies
  • Collaborating effectively as a team player
  • Demonstrating a passion for making a positive impact in childcare
  • Maintaining a caring and professional demeanor at all times

Key day-to-day tasks involve:

  • Planning and coordinating engaging daily activities for our lively children
  • Regular communication with parents and colleagues
  • Monitoring and documenting children's developmental progress in our nursery system
  • Addressing basic care needs such as changing diapers, tidying rooms, and cleaning equipment
  • Ensuring the happiness and well-being of all children while meeting their individual needs

The standard working week comprises 40 hours on a shift pattern within operational hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in scheduling, such as working 40 hours over 4 days, is open for discussion.
