Prospective candidates are expected to have:
- A Level 2 or 3 childcare certificate (or equivalent)
- DBS enhanced clearance
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
Responsibilities encompass:
- Building strong relationships with parents and colleagues
- Planning and executing daily routines in the assigned room
- Adhering to established standards and policies
- Collaborating effectively as a team player
- Demonstrating a passion for making a positive impact in childcare
- Maintaining a caring and professional demeanor at all times
Key day-to-day tasks involve:
- Planning and coordinating engaging daily activities for our lively children
- Regular communication with parents and colleagues
- Monitoring and documenting children's developmental progress in our nursery system
- Addressing basic care needs such as changing diapers, tidying rooms, and cleaning equipment
- Ensuring the happiness and well-being of all children while meeting their individual needs
The standard working week comprises 40 hours on a shift pattern within operational hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in scheduling, such as working 40 hours over 4 days, is open for discussion.
We offer a competitive salary with negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.
