Are you looking for your first learning support/educational role? Protocol Education are currently working with numerous Secondary Schools across Bristol who are recruiting for both full time and part time positions. Whilst you may not be qualified, it is important that you are a caring, passionate individual who is driven to help improve the lives of young people.
The Role:
You will be working on both a group and 1-1 basis with young people in key stage 3 and key stage 4 with their day-to-day learning. Students may also have additional needs such as Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). A creative and flexible approach will be needed, to ensure individuals can flourish in their educational journey regardless of their needs.
About you:
Although you may not have direct experience/qualifications, the role will be suitable if you have experience in backgrounds such as youth work, care and social work. We are also keen to hear from graduates in areas such as Psychology, Sociology and Art who are looking for their first role in an educational setting. Alongside this, you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a strong sense of empathy whilst also being confident and able to remain calm in any situation. You also will be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
