Teaching Assistant - Phonics experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver effective phonics instruction.

  • Provide one-on-one or small group phonics interventions to students who may need additional support.

  • Create engaging and interactive phonics activities and materials that cater to diverse learning styles.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of phonics instruction and experience in teaching phonics to young learners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for early literacy and a commitment to fostering a love for reading in young students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
